Terms of use

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Plannin (plannin.de) is an online service that helps teams plan workshops, trainings and other events. It is provided by the operator named in the legal notice (“we”). By registering you accept these terms. Plannin is currently free of charge.

1. Account

2. Teams and content

Whoever creates a team is its owner, decides about members and the public page, and can delete or transfer the team. All approved members can see and change the team's planning data.

The content you and your team enter remains yours. You grant us the right to store, process and display it as far as running Plannin requires — including publicly, if the team enables its public page.

Enter only content you are entitled to enter. This applies in particular to names and data of other people, such as facilitators or attendees: the team is responsible for that, not we.

3. What is not allowed

4. Public pages and sign-ups

A team that enables its public page is responsible for its content and may use the details of people who sign up there only to organise its events. Whoever signs up must give correct details and may sign up only themselves.

5. Availability, changes and discontinuation

Plannin is a free service. We aim for stable operation but do not guarantee permanent availability; maintenance, outages at our providers or force majeure may cause downtime.

We may change, add or remove features. Should we discontinue Plannin altogether, we will inform registered users by e-mail at least 30 days in advance so teams can save their data. Your team can download a backup of its data in the planner at any time (Availability → Settings).

6. Suspension and termination

If you violate these terms we may remove content, disable a team's public page, or suspend and delete accounts — immediately for serious violations, otherwise after a warning. You can end your use at any time by deleting your account.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage from injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations — obligations whose fulfilment makes the use of Plannin possible in the first place — and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

We are not liable for data loss that regular backups with the backup feature would have prevented. We take no responsibility for content entered by users or for third-party services such as Zoom or calendar providers.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy.

9. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.

We may change these terms when Plannin, the legal situation or our providers change. We will inform you about changes by e-mail or with a notice in Plannin at least 14 days before they take effect; if you do not object by then and keep using Plannin, the new terms apply. If you object, you can delete your account.

Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of these terms stays in force. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
